So here we are, the news you've all been waiting for...
Rialto Towers Issue 7 will be sent out to everyone on Rialto's mailing list this week. That's 10,000 copies being sent out absolutely free to all those who have joined the list since 1998. Obviously that's the reason why there hasn't been an issue for the last nine months - because we've been waiting for the right time to do this with the best issue we could put together.
The difference should be quite astounding. For cost reasons, the fanzine has been reduced to 16 pages for this issue only, but a special edition colour front and back cover should ease the pain slightly! Over the last month myself and Louis have spent a long while putting together what we think is the best issue yet, and the list of features isn't too bad for such a concise issue!
Both myself and Louis have written editorials, and there's a review of the new album. There's an exclusive interview with the full band - that's double figures now for our exclusive interviews over the last three years - as well as chords to Anything Could Happen and the band's favourite four albums of all time. There are other surprises... but we don't to spoil them for you here!
Most importantly of all, there is a rather sizeable competition. You'll have to wait until your copy of the fanzine arrives for the exact details, but what we will say is that, courtesy of Eagle Records, the winner will win something very very special. You'll have to wait for it to see what the exact prize is. Nineteen runners up will also win personalised signed copies of the LP - that's twenty winners overall. Exciting times... and it will be winging your way shortly.
And for the record, current subscribers will NOT be charged for this issue, but should email me at benny@rialtotowers.co.uk if they are not on the mailing list.
